WHAT: ANZAC Day parade and service
COST: Nil
WHERE: Meet at the corner of Darley Rd and Wentworth Streets
WHO: Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Leaders
ACTIVITY: We will parade with our flags behind the HMAS Penguin band and then commemorate ANZAC Day attending the service at the Manly War Memorial.
10.30am Marchers meet on the corner of Darley Road & Wentworth Street.
10.45am Marchers assemble
10.55am Commencement of the March up Darley Road to the Manly War Memorial.
11.00am Marchers arrive at the Manly War Memorial and service begins.
12:00pm Service concludes
SAFETY: Follow instructions of Leaders and service offficials
IMPORTANT: this is the only time of the year we care about the trousers/shorts/skirt your cub/ scout/ venturer is wearing. Please no beach shorts and no bright colours. Suitable shorts/trousers/skirt colours are beige, brown, dark blue and black. School shorts are fine. If the uniform shirt hides the skirt or shorts, then it should be tucked into the skirt/shorts to avoid the "no-pants-look". Please have badges sewn on in the correct uniform layout AND don't forget to iron your scarf.
WHAT TO WEAR: Scout Shirt & scarf, enclosed shoes NO crocs, thongs, sandals or bare feet.
WHAT TO BRING: not very much, maybe a small bottle of water, rain jacket if needed
